Mudblood.
He called me a Mudblood.
Severus, my best friend in the entire world, called me a Mudblood.
I had been able to keep control of my composure while he’d tried to apologize. But I was in no listening mood. No apology could take back what he’d called me. How could I be so blind? I should have seen this coming. I just didn’t want to believe it.
I didn’t want to believe that he could think of me as a bloody Mudblood.
I closed the door of the Fat Lady’s frame, closing myself off from where I knew Severus stood in shock.
Something had snapped in my brain when he’d tried t

when we go crashing down
Drawing the thin curtains closer together, James Potter glanced over his shoulder with a smile. His sleeping wife was spread out across the bed, her chest moving steadily as she breathed. Her fingers flexed as tiny hands grabbed at them, their owner tucked to her side and grinning to himself.
"Hey there, little man." James whispered as he crossed back across the room and placed a knee on the mattress. His two year old son turned the grin on him, giggling happily as he wriggled free of his mother's arm. He crawled across the duvet, using whatever purchase he could gain from it to pull himself along further until he came to a stop next to Jame

Sev's Last Chance [Lily Evans]
Lily had been glad of her prefect duties on the Hogwarts Express today, simply due to the distraction that it had provided. Now that her patrol was ended, however, it was time to face the fact that, for the first time since her first trip six years ago, she was not going to be sitting with her best friend. Not that she could even call him that anymore, she supposed. Severus had declared his loyalties at the end of the previous school year, and it was clear that their friendship was no longer a priority to him.
She had other friends, of course – as she walked the hall, she glanced into each of the compartments in search of Marlene or Al

Chapter 4- Severus, Lily and James
In the local park in Surrey, Snape and Lily were cloud-gazing and discussing all the pros and cons of magic.
'Magic is amazing, it opens a whole world of possibility, but that world has so many dangers.' said Lily.
'True Lily, there are all the magical creatures than can kill you,' admitted Snape.
'I sometimes felt jealous of muggle's obliviousness when I heard about some of them,' said Lily. 'There are somethings you do not want to know, like I have heard about some horrid magic. I remember this awful dream about one particular spell.'
'Yes, there are some sick spells, but you have to take the bad magi
"Hermione, what have you done?" Kinsley Shacklebolt stood up, staring at her in horror. Everyone else in the room, eyes wide and hands on their wands, followed suit.
The girl in question stood tall under everyone's gaze, and stared them down. "I did what I had to do, when no one else would." But she knew it wasn't her they were staring at. There, in the shadows behind her, was the very imposing, very alive, figure of Severus Snape.
It had been three months since the end of the war - three long months of weeping for those who died, of mourning those whose lives had been cut short or scarred. &

Snape X Hermione - Don't Cry
"You may all begin your tests."
Professor Severus Snape's delicious voice echoed through Hermione's delicate ears like a wolf's howl in the dark woods. She knew she had to get her test done, to receive yet another "Outstanding" in her O.W.L., but her eyes were firmly fixed on Snape. She stared at him admiringly until he finally noticed her oogling at him.
He raised an eyebrow at her, making her blush and quickly look back at her paper. She hadn't started on it yet. She quickly scribbled her answers on it; It was done in less than a minute, but, nevertheless, each of her answers were correct. She knew it. They had to be. They just HAD to be.
